Kiln Dried Birch is a great option for smaller stoves, it lights very quickly especially with it's flakey bark, tends to get hotter more quickly and is a very good all round species for log stoves and is more economical than Ash & Oak.

Our logs register at ONLY 5-8% MOISTURE , plus over time burning wet logs may cause significant damage to your stove and flue lining, making them inefficient as wood burning logs, that's why we recommend Kiln Dried logs. Kiln dried also produces less creosote therefore making your chimney a happier and safer place and needing less maintenance.

Custom made mantle piece
Recently had a custom made oak mantle piece , from start to finish the service was brilliant Karen was top class with the advise she gave me and the options given , we went out to the yard and picked out the oak wood to be used for the mantle piece , Roy then took over and talked through what we wanted and gave us brilliant advise he cut the exact pieces we wanted then worked is magic and Made a perfect custom mantle piece , I will recommend Timbermines for all your timber needs I will use them again
